I did this by converting the files into jpegs which then enabled me to access the files directly from blogger. By converting the files into jpegs it therefore meets the client brief, as the magazine is now accessible online. Report on how it meets client brief: The client brief specifies that you must produce a new online and print based magazine for the vibrant North London music scene that is developing locally. LO4: P5 (U3) Be able to carry out post-production techniques and processes for an original media product to a client brief. front cover: In order to begin making my front cover, I first had to get the chosen photo from my camera onto the Mac and then download it so that I could access it in photoshop at its prime quality. I then unlocked the layer so that I could add things onto it - such as title, strap lines and tag lines. Secondly, I inserted font from dafont.com in the style bad signal, it inserted in the colour black, which didn't feel right with the vibrant background so I changed the colour to yellow which works better with the background. I then used the stroke tool on the font to create a drop shadow around the title to make it bolder. Learning outcome 2 (U3): be able to plan and develop pre production materials for an original media product to a client brief. mood board: The purpose of my improved mood board is to show a collection of pictures relating to the genre of music that my magazine is based on and to also show the different colour schemes that will make up the main designs of the magazine. Similarly the mood board is particularly useful for me in the pre production as it enabled me to get ideas flowing for different features of the magazine, such as fonts, colour schemes and for the general style of the magazine. By doing this it enabled me to dig deeper into the indie genre, so I went from including more well known indie bands such as Arctic Monkeys in my plan to changing it so that I was including less well known bands such as Hunny T and blossoms in my plan.
