Evaluation of feedback given by client ( points that will be changed and points that have been rejected):
One of the most useful aspects of my magazine that must be changed is the form, I will change the form to be primarily online format with an additional print magazine as a subscription option, this change will allow readers to access the more interactive features of the magazine, such as videos of interviews and performances. By doing this it will grab the readers through the powerful, transfixing music that is performed at the different venues that will be the focus of each edition. Similarly this will create a seemingly larger target audience as it will be solely made up of people who enjoy indie music ( indie music is a very large genre).
Another simple consideration outlined by the client, in which I should scrap the specific details of what I want my target audience to be like as it will restrict the amount of readers and sales made by the magazine. The details included in my target audience specification that will be removed were that the target audience will be more arty than academic and the main audience is young people who are on the edge of society- they feel they are not really understood as people.By removing said details it removes an underlying stigma that those of an older generation cannot listen to the current day indie performers- which is highly untrue, as anyone of any age can listen to any music genre they enjoy.

The penultimate consideration outlined by the client was to change the mood board to something that stands out during a pitch so that it draws the client in to what my magazine is all about. My current mood board is a collection of bands/artists within the indie genre, however the pictures were somewhat blurry and not of the best quality, so I will create a new mood board that will include high quality photos as well as colour schemes and fonts. The colour scheme of the magazine will be based on a collated selection of photos from each venues up and coming artists and will be different for each edition, this adds originality to each edition and makes them stand out to others on the market. By making this change I hope to achieve a bolder place in the market of music magazines, by showing people something different and refreshing.
The final useful consideration that will provide a change in my magazine is the sketches. As part of my USP is to have each edition based on a different venue, the sketches that were created did not focus on one venue, the front cover had information on several different venues which did not match my USP, similarly the double page spread lacked detail of how the content will also help my magazine to stand out and influence the current music world, not just the colour and photography part of my magazine.
However one consideration that will not be changed is the use of a bold font for the main body of the magazine, as I believe that it adds individuality to the magazine, by individuality I mean creating a magazine that is different in every aspect to other music magazines, it sends its own creative message by being visually bold as well as having good articles, I feel it is important for all the visual features to stand out, and by having a bold font it allows my magazine to do this. This will still be in consideration during magazine production as the font will need to be tested based on legibility and sans-serif.
The industry professional did not like the font because it looked like it was meant for a title to grab a persons attention, and so would not work as a main body font. There was not one specific font that I chose, there was four that I would use at different points in the magazine or maybe not at all for one edition to another, however the four fonts were; nervous, bad signal, richela kids and the hurraca company +. The industry professional did not agree with this as it would look too messy and readers would not want to read it.
To conclude, all changes will be taken on board as improvements from the client who is representing the magazines potential target audiences, and the general public. The improvements will change the magazine to make it the best possible quality that readers will enjoy and want to invest in.
